Delivery & Couriers
Get live courier quotes, book deliveries, and share tracking with customers — right inside the conversation.
Delivery & Couriers#
Once an order is confirmed, the next question is usually "how will it get there?" The Delivery & Couriers automation lets your agent fetch a live courier quote, book the delivery, and share tracking — without you leaving the chat. Find it under Automations > Delivery & Couriers.
Supported Couriers#
AlonChat connects to on-demand courier services. The capability is provider-neutral — you connect the courier you use, and the agent handles the job of getting a quote and booking a rider.
| Courier | Status |
|---|---|
| Lalamove | Live — quotes, booking, tracking, and cancellation |
| GrabExpress | Connectable — live booking is rolling out |
You can connect more than one and pick a default.
What You Configure#
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Courier credentials | The API credentials for your courier account, and whether to use sandbox or production |
| Pickup location | Your business address, contact name, phone, and map coordinates — required for accurate live quotes |
| Default courier | Which courier to use when more than one is connected |
| Test quote | Run a sample quote to confirm the connection returns live pricing |
Tip: Live quotes need your pickup coordinates, not just a street address. Set these once so every quote is accurate.
What the Agent Does#
- Quote — given the customer's drop-off address, request a live price and ETA from your courier.
- Book — once the customer confirms, book the rider and get a tracking reference.
- Track — share the tracking link so the customer can follow their delivery.
- Cancel — cancel a booked delivery if plans change.
In a Business Process#
Delivery works best as the final step of an order workflow. Inside a Business Process, the agent can take the order, collect payment, then quote and book delivery — all in one continuous conversation.
