Manage your AlonChat subscription, payment methods, credit usage, and invoices.
Accessing Billing#
- Go to your project dashboard
- Click Settings in the sidebar
- Select Billing
Or go directly to Settings → Plans to compare options.

Understanding Credits#
Credits are consumed when your AI responds to messages:

- Use budget models (1 credit) for simple queries
- Reserve premium models for complex needs
- Monitor usage in Usage dashboard

Adding Payment Method#
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Payment Methods
- Click Add Payment Method
- Choose type and enter details
- Verify if required
Default Payment Method#
Set which method charges for subscription:
- Find the payment method
- Click Set as Default
Managing Your Subscription#
Upgrading#
- Go to Settings → Plans
- Select a higher plan
- Choose billing cycle (monthly/annual)
- Confirm payment
- Upgraded immediately
Pro-rated credit for unused days on current plan.
Downgrading#
- Go to Settings → Plans
- Select a lower plan
- Confirm changes
- Takes effect at end of billing cycle
Canceling#
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Select reason
- Confirm cancellation
After cancellation:
- Access continues until period ends
- Data retained for 30 days
- Can reactivate anytime
Credit Add-ons#
Need more credits without upgrading? Buy add-on packs:

Viewing Invoices#
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Invoice History
- View or download any invoice
Invoice Contents#
- Invoice number
- Billing period
- Plan details
- Amount charged
- Payment method used
Downloading for Accounting#
- Click Download PDF on any invoice
- Includes all tax information
- Valid for business expenses
Billing Cycle#
Monthly Billing#
- Charged on same day each month
- Example: Started Jan 15 → billed 15th monthly
Annual Billing#
- Save 20% vs monthly
- Charged once per year
- Pro-rated for upgrades
Troubleshooting#
Payment Failed#
- Check card/account balance
- Verify payment method details
- Try alternative payment method
- Contact support if persists
Credits Not Showing#
- Wait 5 minutes for processing
- Refresh the page
- Check transaction in billing history
- Contact support with payment confirmation
Subscription Not Active#
- Verify payment completed
- Check for failed payment notification
- Update payment method
- Contact support
