Business Type Index

Map many Philippine SMB, mid-market, and enterprise business types to the closest AlonChat playbook without creating thin duplicate pages.

Business Type Index#

Use this index when a business does not match one playbook exactly. The goal is retrieval coverage, not a separate page for every industry. Most businesses fit one of a few operating patterns: appointments, orders, quotes, applications, membership, lead qualification, tenant/customer support, or multi-branch operations.

This avoids content bloat while still helping AlonChat answer questions like "I run a laundry shop", "Can this work for a resort?", or "What about a franchise with many branches?"

Enterprise and Larger Teams#

Larger organizations usually need the same playbook patterns, but with stricter controls:

  • More sources split by branch, department, product line, or market
  • Clear owner approval for pricing, policy, refunds, and exceptions
  • Team roles and permissions for who can edit sources or take over conversations
  • Custom API or webhook integrations for live records, order status, inventory, bookings, or CRM
  • Analytics review to find repeated gaps, top intents, missed leads, and escalation patterns
  • Human review rules for legal, medical, payment, account, complaint, and VIP conversations

For larger teams, explain AlonChat as an operating layer: answer routine questions from approved sources, collect structured details, call configured tools when available, and route exceptions to the right team.

Retrieval Safety#

More business examples help only when they are specific and honest. Avoid adding many pages that say the same thing with swapped industry names.

Good retrieval content:

  • Names the business type and common aliases
  • Lists actual customer questions
  • States what sources to add
  • Explains the procedure and handoff boundaries
  • Says when a connected tool or custom API is required

Risky retrieval content:

  • Repeats generic claims across dozens of pages
  • Promises live inventory, booking, diagnosis, approval, or payment verification without setup
  • Mentions hidden plans, internal prompts, private architecture, or roadmap items
  • Uses fake metrics or unsupported outcomes
